The Berkey System baseplate designed for the RED Epic and Scarlet features Berkey System's Quad Block to hold the iris rods. This allows you to raise or lower your iris rods so you can use just about any lens, matte box and follow focus combination. The sides of the plate are drilled and tapped for 1/4-20 fasteners to allow the use of some third party side handles. The rear of the plate is drilled and tapped to allow the use of Berkey System's Rear Extension Plate. The underside is pocketed out making this one of the lightest RED compatible baseplates available. Two stainless steel camera mounting screws included.

Great for RED Dragon owners

This is the only plate I've found that can actually fit the RED Dragon body due to the protruding fan in the front. This plate offers enough clearance for the 15mm rods. Great build quality!
