Why risk damaging your valuable camera body when there is a simple solution that offers so many mounting options? Our top cheeseplate for the Varicam LT mounts to the four existing M4 tapped holes on the camera body, giving you all the 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 tapped mounting holes you will likely ever need. The factory handle and the factory EVF mounts to our plate using the factory mounting screws. Mounting holes are provided to allow the use of the factory Panisonic Varicam LT top handle. Comes with four M4 X 10 socket head cap screws for mounting the plate to the camera.

This is the perfect top plate of you want to use the original Panasonic viewfinder for the Varicam LT. Be aware that the Zacuto top plate will not allow for use of the original viewfinder. Product shipped quickly and arrived well boxed and is very high quality.

After hanging and accessories off the factory handle I found the mild steal threads were failing. I purchased the cheese plate which has fixed this issue as well as providing mounting points with a lower centre of gravity. In turn, this has made for a better operating experience.

I had used this plate on a rental camera and knew that when I purchased a new camera, the Berkey System top plate would be the one I'd get. Covers the entire top of the camera body and allows you to either use the Berkey top handle or the Panasonic factory top handle...appreciate that I could make that choice. Definitely the best choice at the best price!
